A Husky Adventure Holiday in Yukon, Canada

8 Days

This dog sledding trip is for the more adventurous musher. This trip offers 4 nights at the Lodge, all the basics, plus 3 days of winter camping in our wall tent camp at Dry Creek. Day trips include: Copper Haul Roadd (an old mining road), Mount McIntyre, Bonneville Lakes, Jackson Lake & Ptarmigan Flats. Keep an eye out for wildlife on these trails. Enjoy 2 clear crisp nights in our wall tent and cozy up to our wood stove. Don’t forget to check out the night time skies for the mystical Aurora Borealis.

 

A Taste of Dog Mushing Holiday in Yukon, Canada

5 Days

This dog mushing holiday in Yukon is an adventure for the beginner musher. We will teach you all the important aspects of mushing. You will experience the untouched beauty of the Yukon wilderness while mushing the the historical trails surrounding the ranch. Relax in the evenings with a shower, sauna or snuggled up by the fire in our 2-storey log lodge recounting your day's adventure with others on your tour. Please remember that dog sledding is comparable to cross country-skiing and you should be in relatively good physical condition to fully enjoy what this trip has to offer. Don’t forget your camera! 

 

A Yukon Quest Trail Dog Sledding Adventure

15 Days

Interested in enjoying mushing on many trails in different areas? Then this extended dog sledding tour might be the right one for you. One week enjoying the historic trails around the Ranch and a second week exploring, and running dogs along the Yukon Quest Trail. Extended dog sledding can be demanding so this winter adventure is for the musher with some experience but also for daring beginners!

 

A Yukon Trapper Trail Dog Sledding Adventure in Canada

11 Days

Step back in time on the Trapper Trail Tour. This tour will take you on historic trails used by many trappers over the years. Spend the first few days learning the basics of mushing, forming a relationship with your dogs and exploring the untouched beauty of the Fish Lake area. Then imagine yourself as an old time trapper setting off into the wilderness to make your living, sleeping in our wall tent camp for two or three nights and then on to Coal Lake camp where we have an original trapper cabin. If you are lucky you may see the amazingly beautiful Aurora Borealis dancing in the skies for you. We do everything we can to ensure that this is your adventure of a lifetime and that you go home with many happy memories of your visit with us.

 

Dog Mushing in Saskatchewan: Huskies, Moose and Timberwolf Serenade

6 Days (Mid-November to Mid-March)

This experience centres around learning how to "mush" or drive dogs. Experience indicates that most people like their first several rides on the dogsled but then the adventurous want more! They want to drive the team and thus this package was born. It runs for a week with no pressure or grading, just the thrill of working with Siberian Huskies in Saskatchewan’s grand wilderness.

Our guide-hosts share their love for this landscape and an in-depth knowledge of its ecology with you, as the team takes you through the mosaic of woods, muskegs and lakes that are the boreal forest.
